Lost in Time Car Club began many years ago when a teenage boy had the love for the muscle cars. Leslie Lifson, founding father of Lost of Time Car Club, would always be found in the auto shop admiring and working on the classic cars. His love constantly grew for the cars of yesteryear. Leslie kept his hobby and appreciation growing every day and eventually was found on the drag strip. He drag raced on San Moriches and Islip Raceway, New York, where he was known for having the Teowona Taxi, a 1956 Chevy Wagon 4 door with a 265 2 barrel 2 speed transmission and the Georgia Cracker, a 1957 two door station wagon with a 283 and a power glide . As years continued and Les became a father to his first daughter, Allyson his drag racing days came to an end. However, his love never died. Les was member of several clubs throughout his many years and it finally occurred to him, he wanted his own club. In 2001, Lost in Time Car Club officially was founded in Freehold, New Jersey, along with his son, Jon. Les wanted to make this club a family affair for all ages to enjoy the classic cars, or like he calls them, the Lost in Time cars.
